I would like to recommend Maryanne Popovic of ‘TheFacePainters’ with regards to her performance last Sunday at the Cairns Mosque Open Day. Charity work: Her free service on the day was an unexpected offer of goodwill, demonstrating her commitment to investing in Cairns diverse Community. It was heartwarming to see her donate all of her time and resources to the Cairns Mosque in the wake of NZ atrocities to help heal a community and restore faith in humanity at a local level.
Environment-friendly: TheFacePainters uses eco-friendly resources, thereby reducing the carbon footprint. The children were taught about the importance of recycling and protecting the environment while having fun creating artworks.

This recommendation comes highly for Maryanne Popovic & Rhiannon Popovic of The Face Painters, Body Artists and Balloon Benders, as Children’s Entertainers and Educators, for event, after AFL Cairns has had a three-year working partnership with them.

AFL Cairns hired the organisation to provide entertainment for children at Cazalys Stadium for the Toyota AFL Premiership match of the Western Bulldogs vs Gold Coast Suns game held in Cairns in 2016. In attendance to the match was over 9,500 that attracted a crowd of various ages and demographics that the organisations catered to with ease. Maryanne and Rhiannon work patiently and can instil peace and harmony to the children through entertainment, which brings added value to the event. Entertainment of this sort has many benefits to our event; it heightens spirits, creates a fun atmosphere and creates engagement and a memorable photographic experience for all involved.
Maryanne and Rhiannon have a great work ethic, are very honest, professional, reliable and capable entertainers.

The interaction and entertainment go beyond face painting as they often incorporate the children into their work by allowing them to learn some new skills and express their creativity through ballooning or painting. The children and parents get to learn the language of ballooning while testing their fine and gross motor skills making their own balloon animals to keep. This is a great experience, when children physically see what they can accomplish in just a few minutes.

Most recently Maryanne & Rhiannon have offered help to our AFL community by donating a gift voucher and toy prizes to help assist in fundraising for local AFL Club Pyramid Power who’s building was vandalised. Maryanne is also kindly donating her time to entertain at our upcoming fundraising event, in effort to further raise funds to help the club rebuild. This voluntary involvement helps restore faith in communities like ours at a local level.

If you want to to stand out from the crowd in your promotions for either photo shoots or live promotions Maryanne will give you a unique and attention grabbing result. I have to admit balloon creations were not something I was drawn to, however this changed. I had a serious accident 2 days before Christmas and arrived at Cairns Base Hospital which was the start of what was to be a 15 week hospital recovery.
Maryanne delivered a life sized Father Christmas, accompanied by a floating Bambi deer on a tether. Every morning for the next week I woke to Father Christmas silently watching over me, giving me the thumbs up sign, and allowing me to start each day with a big smile.
When Father Christmas could no longer "get it up" he was replace by with a bunch of blue and silver helium balloons with snowflake motifs on them. It was hot and one of the nurses who did not have air-conditioning at home told me, when she woke sweating in the middle of the night she just think of my cool balloons to drift back to sleep in no time."
