We appreciate bookings ahead of time so we can utilise our most suited staff for the most optimum results.
We require a minimum of 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking and ensure originality for each event and the balance paid at the time of the event or for large corporate customers, the balance within 5 working days of the event. We simply do not have the means to extend credit for more than 7 days.
We charge a deposit because we actually research your theme to ensure your event is memorable - for the right reasons. Our time spent researching and preparing for your event takes time and often costs us more than the 20% deposit.
To ensure our professionalism, costs associated with planning your event are incurred. E.G. purchasing paint and freighting to Cairns or urgent rush orders cost extra.
We also ensure we source enough paint, balloons and supplies in the right colour scheme for your event so we do not run short on the day.
Prior to your confirmation we will discuss with you any themes or ideas you may have for your event. This is so we can create and plan or research logos etc for your event. We train our crew constantly with new ideas and designs so that our face painting stays a step ahead of the game..
Where possible we also dress in theme to truly create an atmosphere that generates life into your party/event and make the occasion more enjoyable.
Additional costs for Helium Tanks for balloon displays are non refundable - even when partially unused. This is due to the T & C's of our helium suppliers. We discuss your needs to try and ensure the most suitable tank is purchased for the amount of balloons used in your planned display. For events out of town we supply extra in case of... As it is too far to return to top up supplies that are not available on weekends in remote locations. E.G. we will ensure, within reason, additional balloons to suit your colour scheme - should any burst, we can replace the required colours quickly and easily.
Privacy
Here at The Face Painters & Body Artists we recognise the importance of privacy and understand concerns about the security of personal information. Any personal information that is obtained through our ordering process is protected and not disclosed to third parties without your consent.
Personal Information is collected initially in the ordering and payment process of The Face Painters & Body Artists. Personal Information is also collected to provide individuals with information about products, promotions and services through our birthday club or subscription.
Payment
Payment options are Direct Deposit and PayPal (Visa, MasterCard or PayPal) and Square (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). Postage is calculated at the end of the order process.
Delivery
Delivery will not take place until payment has been received. Postage rates are inclusive of packaging fees.
Postage rates are clearly quoted. The Face Painters & Body Artists is a Cairns, Queensland operated business, therefore QLD postage rates are broken down in the following ways:

Edmonton to Palm Cove, including Cairns. Everywhere between the two suburbs excluding going up the Ranges.

Gordonvale, Port Douglas and The Tablelands within a 50km radius of Cairns.

Everywhere else in Australia

Worldwide
Where possible delivery will take place on your requested day. However you do need to take into consideration the length of time it takes to deliver interstate or internationally
For Far North QLD deliveries - every attempt will be made for same day/next day deliveries (on request) – however there are no guarantees for this service.
It is ideal for your filled balloon orders to be handed over to the recipient, delivery to a place of work would therefore be more ideal than a home address. If you do leave authority for your order to be left without a signature we can not be held responsible for it there after. If delivery cannot take place due to the recipient being unavailable a calling card will be left, thus giving them the opportunity to call and arrange a mutually convenient time.
If for some unforeseen reason an item is unavailable from our suppliers, we will replace it with a similar item of at least equal quality and value. You will be notified of this by email prior to your order being shipped/ delivered.
Problems
Accidents happen – If you think your order was incorrect or your order got damaged in transit please contact us immediately on 0438 513 593. We will establish the problem and work with you to rectify the problem.
Refunds or Cancellations
If you decide to cancel your order you need to notify us within 24 hours of placing the order.
We will happily provide you with a refund if your balloon order has not been packed, inflated or sent.
If your order has left the warehouse but has not been delivered to the nominated address, we will refund you 50% of the order total.
Unfortunately if your order has left the warehouse and reached its destination we are unable to provide any refund.
